My old DC5 - CRASHED/WRECKED

Such a waste of good metal, and another reason they are impossible to insure. There should be an IQ test required to drive nice cars!
 
Although absolutly not related to the accident this gives me another reason to fear my renewal date

Fact, was reversing out of my driveway this morning, light on the main road was red and no cars coming from the side road, i pull out on the junction. In the time it took me to go from reverse to 1st the light obviously went green, just as im pulling away a people carrier goes flying past me on the wrong side of the road!

I was like f*cking moron so i drove along, beeped the person and next thing they jam on the brakes. I was like holy sh*t its 0730 and this person has tried to cause two accidents.

I quickly noticed the main issue, it was a mother in the people carrier filled with kids. This i maintain is by far the most dangerous vehicle on our roads today.

I eventually get along side her, she rolls down the window and apologises saying she didnt see me and shes sorry. If she had even glanced on the road she would seen a stationary impreza as she approached the lights at some speed.

Be careful lads, theyre out to get you!

but unfortunately when you sell them you have to be prepared for them to never be as good or be in a state like above
just one of things don't let it kill ya ,your Bug is way nicer imo so chin up :thumbsup:

Thanks Colm. Deep down I knew this was coming for some strange reason.
 
Cant believe that Richie. Always loved that DC5. This is one of the main reasons I don't want to sell on my DC5 as I know the chances of some young dope ruining it is about 99.9%

Rang today. They were like "oh it's a customers car that was towed in" I was like eh yeah I know the story behind it and he just bluffed me and said its not there's to sell as of yet.
 
That's horrible to see its happened to me before with a car I was keeping an eye out for to buy back so I can understand what your going through
