In the process of doing a bit of work to the scoob, and im having to change the boost guage and also fit an AFR meter.

I was unable to find a guage pod anywhere that i liked, as i hate having extra things slapped around the dash etc. So while sitting looking at the interior of the car, i came up with the idea that a set of guages could go into the airvents on the dash. I didnt really know where to start, but i found a guy of scoobynet who seemed pretty good with these things, so contacted him. He agreed to modify them for me, and they have been returned to me today. Well pleased, cant wait to see what they look like in the car, but heres a preview of how they look out of the car.

its gonna be a cold, but informative, ride! :D nice idea, id say it will look savage

your not the first person to say that norris, but they are vents i never used. I either have the air blowing onto the windscreen, or onto the windscreen plus my feet. Never have i felt the need to turn it to the in your face mode :)

Heading round to try it into the car on the way home, will get some more pics then :)

set the guages into it this evening and set it into the car.

unfortunately not, the full kit including oxygen sensor, wiring with analgue outputs for input to the ecu and the guage came to 237 quid delivered. www.turbobits.co.uk

Nice job...
Sorry to be picking holes but, I think it would look tidier if you had sprayed the surround all black. Seems like a very bright silver, or is it just the lighting in the pic? Would be a lot more subtle.
Those gauges look savage though..

the guage bit has just been sprayed with a base coat of silver. Its going today to be sprayed the same colour as the rest of the dash surround, which is a slightly duller silver. Did sit for a while last nite thinking about getting it all done black, but the dash looks well with the silver in the middle.
