German Shepards are one of the easiest dogs to train you can get!
But they pick up bad habits easily! That said, they have 1 master who they will obey religiously and depending on the individual animal they might accept instruction from 1 more person!
Simple things like walking them in busy pedestrian areas from an early age, and standing close to the school gates as kids run out to head home will help with their socialisation!
We have had a fair few full breed and a few half breed shepards thru the years at the home place there!
Thinking of getting one myself, but I'd want a long haired Male!
Read up on the breed as there are a few diseases they are susseptible too and a few things you need to be aware of to keep your puppy right!
Calcium supplements are a good idea as lotto suggested, speak to your local vet about them before you go for it tho! There are a few brands out there that aren't worth the money you'll pay for them!
Don't encourage her to start jumping too early either as she could possibly damage her rear hips
Few other things like that are worth reading up on!!!
