Sunday Drivers
It's not a scoob but it's ok I still have it for the weekends. Two years ago I got fed up of buying shares in Texaco so I decided to buy a runaround/recce car, so I decided on buying a wee 1.4hdi Citroen C2 (cracking wee car if you get one with little electrics, mine had windy windows and a cassette player). So with a change of plans coming in the next 6 months all being well, I'll be living across the water from Sept as I'm going back to uni to retrain. So I decided I needed a fresher car, with little mileage, thats easy ran/insured and taxed etc.

So I came across this...
Bought it a week or two ago and I'm impressed by how it handles and how fruggle it is on petrol.

With it being a hybrid, it's £20 a year road tax and gives roughly between 60 and 70mpg in eco mode, and it's a 6 speed manual as most hybrids are auto.
The car has a full Mugen bodykit and wheels (which cost a fortune) and a full Honda service history, one thing I love it turns heads everywhere and has every optional extra ticked on the factory specs.

yeah gseco, they only came in hybrid, which is unfortunate as I'd have liked to seen them built with a K20 (Type R engine) as they are a really well balanced car. You would know it was derived from the CR-X

About 280 sterling using 2 years no claims bonus, feckers wouldn't mirror my 16years bonus on the Subaru onto the Honda. When renewal is up I'll try the company I'm with for the scoob and see if they'll mirror it as they're a jap specialist.

What about serving and repairs I take it you can't just give it to a back lane lad to service.

Why not, it's just a Honda Jazz engine with an electric motor assist which is in the gearbox. So engine wise after the warranty is up I'll do the servicing myself, till then it'll be going to Honda to keep warranty in place. As for the rest of the car it's the same as every other car on the road just with a massive battery in the boot.
