Still want that new WRX? I'm afraid I'm not impressed. Lets hope the EU version is a whole lot more aggressive lookng. Those bumpers are US spec to pass their 5mph offset crash test and look awful. I hope the EU WRX has something less rounded and soft looking. No info on the STI yet but I've heard that we'll only get 5 door hatchback STI here and no WRX saloon or hatchback :dunno:

Anyway whadda ya think?

PS How come it took an Audi driver and a BMW driver to bring you this news first :nana:

It's too mild looking compared to the last few models, and I'm still not too keen on one or two of them :( I think the are following the EVO and making them a lot more tame looking.

Here's the best photo I could find so far. It's of the USA spec WRX Saloon. It looks okish and would look better in black. I'm hopeful the STI will address the overall Mr Blobby and Barney's love child looks :?

Just looking at the pics from the autocar site linked above. Its not good is it? Although I did see some STI pics from possibly a Japanese site and a vast improvement, will have a look for them again. Did anybody else spot the advertisement being displayed beside the Subaru pics in Autocar gallery? Advert for Mazda 3 MPS - Coincidence? I think not!

I'm not too keen it on either, but when bug eye came out i hated it, but love it now,
so it will prob just grow on me :p
 
Johnny B your links are all for the old car ie the 2007 model. The new model is the 2008!

Did anyone see a picture of the rear of the WRX saloon. It looks like a Daewoo Lacetti.

There are no official pictures of the STI yet only photoshopped renderings. It wont break cover for another 6 months.

the 08 saloon is a definate improvement! cant wait to see the STI version
