New m3

Seen one today on the n4 we were side by side fook me one of the best looking cars on the road, it was dark grey with a carbon roof, young guy driving it
The noise from it was :headbanger: i made a deal with myself there and then that one day I WILL have one (might not be mine) :lol:
But i will have one come on lotto PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

they are nice cars alright i do like them but i just cant get the image of a classic m3 driver out of my head ie the buisness man with the sunglasses short sleeved shirt and the bluetooth sticking out of his ear :lol:

Hello Keith,

With a carbon roof, it must have been the CSL......

Lightweight all the way...... it really beats the type-R in weight but really "Nerdy" :dunno:


Among other things it has / does not have:

CF roof,
No Air Con
No E.W. etc
Fairly slick tyres, which only operate at certain temps
& Yeah a "cardboard" booth liner, so don't put anything heavy in it....... e.g. "a paper clip"

Great car, but watch out for the back diffs, they are maybe a bit weak

As far as I know all the new m3 have a carbon roof. There isnt a csl version out yet.

Thats right, all new M3's have carbon roof as standard, only the CSL on the last model had it,
Saw a 08 white M3 today and nearly stopped dead on the dualler lookin at it, some day !!!

Thanks fook they finally decided to put decent brakes on them as standard now too... I didn't think much of their slinding calipers on the E46 and previous

i pass frank keane BMW every weekday when im goin to lunch and they have a white 1 parked out on display at the front and i drool everytime i see it what a machine i'd have 2 if i won d lotto

They are some machines alright, I seen a black one driving to Dunboyne a few times!
