Bought this yesaterday

Started striping it last nite.

Going to total rebuild it with a mate and fit a 2.1 ltr zetec turbo engine into it.

Wat u think are we mad.

would make a great sleeper alright seen something simular on another site ,an old escort post van falling apart complete with faded paint outline of royal post where the sticker had been removed, stuck a cossie engine in it as far as i can rember was some yoke to go :lol:

ive my old saxo out there its a 00 vtr and if i had some space...ie a garage ied do exactly the same thing. fair play to ye.......its the best way of gettin yer hands dirty.

Paid €200 for it from a scrap yard.Got a price of €3000 for a new engine today 400 bhp the guy said we could get 500+ bhp out of it if we wanted.

Have a fiesta rs turbo already pics are in the members section it some animal but it will be tame to this when it gets finished.

I'm wondering about that myself? :dunno: I had 250hp in my civic and it only barely got the power down in second.. 400 will see you spinnin wheels

Have a look at the Fast Ford mag, you can get it in Halfords, it is excellent, none of your plastic fantastic sh1te that you see in Max Power and the likes, just hard core Ford enthusiasts sticking huge power into their fords.

Saw one of those like you have with a Cosworth block and rear wheel drive conversion, think he had 350hp in it but it was ridiculous!!!

Good choice of engine too, the zetec is excellent and there is loads of turbo kits and internals available... there is some crowds out there that you can buy everything you need possible, starting from bare blocks.

As you probably know, check out Reyland too, the cosworth king... he's gone so far as to chop off the top of a YB and stick it onto another YB to increase the displacement :shock: and then stuck a skyline gearbox on it He's a nutter!!
