Highly expected since the last several months, the new Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2008 finally presented itself at the Frankfurt Auto Show : a purebred car engineered for the highest level of competition. Some observers have been saying the 2008 version could be quite a contender.
Following its long-term collaboration with Prodrive, Belgium-based Bernard Munster Autosport has ordered two full Group N models, with one car available for Rally Monte Carlo and Rally Sweden.
The road version will be available next March while the WRC version should be participating in its first event during Rally Finland next August.
The deal is therefore a very good one for the Bernard Munster Autosport organisation. The first Subaru will be delivered in mid-January with the second car arriving a month later.
