Nissan S14a, 1999 FSH

Re: Nissan S14a (1999)

seen this car in Ennis, along with your GTB at maxol

a lovely looking car, I'm currently thinking of making a swap and would love to have a look at it, where abouts are you in the Ennis area?

dont understand the "no cash no drive" thing thats quite common now on for sale adds. As a buyer am i expected to carry a big wodd of cash to every car i see?? :ponder2:

thats a genuine question, or are you just saying "if your broke, bugger off" :icon_biggrin: :icon_biggrin:

Re: Nissan S14a (1999)

^^^ heya, thanks :) im in ennis town so maxol is the meeting point usually (for coffee haha)
what car have you got??

thats basically what it means! at least a deposit.... i've had ppl come to see a car that had
no cash and no intention of buying and all they do is take your pride and joy for a "shpin"...
tough, but with the way the market has gone for these specific cars, its a must. sad, but true.

Re: Nissan S14a, SWAP or P/X for scooby

interested in a b4 legacy 01 taxed and tested and had a full engine rebuild

always wanted one of those, but with road tax increase and fule prices going up its alsmost imposible to get a second car, ill get back in a month or two see if the price dropped... :icon_lol:

haha well its better on fuel than the subarus lol. its actually fine on fuel tbh.
never thought it was heavy anyways, and im not rich lol.

im 24, full license, 5 years ncb paying 780e with liberty with MODS DECLARED.
never had a problem insuring my cars lol. and i've had some blacklisted stuff as far as insurances go.

WHAT!?? ah rats! i just have one less NCB, i have 4

prob because your a laaaaaaady :icon_hang:

i want one of these soooo bad it kills me

well its not bad on insurance if you transfer over... lots of cars arent but you have to have the balls to buy them and transfer haha.
most insurances dont give quotes anymore for performance cars... its awkward!

you can say that again!

just tried to get a quote for my mum on one, mid 50's, 30 years full licence, full NCB, computer says no :wall:

i know of the transfer thing but it scares me!

plus what happens when renewal comes round? dont they pull your trousers down?

well the computers are lethal anyways. way too imprecise imo. its when you talk to someone that you actually get a proper accurate quote. i always see what the computer says and then i call to compare (if i get a quote). the renewal is the same amount you pay when you transfer. example:

if you pay 500e per year on your current car
and you pay up 200e for an s14 for the rest of the year say 6 months
your paying a total of 900e for the year for the s14, your renewal will be around that too
UNLESS you get points etc.

thats how mine worked anyways. i actually found my renewal was always a good chunk cheaper...
