By far not the first, and more than likely not the last, joyride taken by a Police / Garda officer.
Not right... but you could see the temptation lol... however... would you not take care not to damage the car and get caught?!?
Had two cars in the past where I was stopped and after a chat asked if they "could take it up the road for a bit to see what it's like...". Happened to my uncle in the Netherlands too with an XJS 5.1L 12 cylinder Jag (which sounds impressive on paper but in the real world not that powerful or quick). Lads there wanted to see how fast it would go so they set up their radar gun on a big straight outside the village and had a couple of runs lol.
