paint code "o2c"

i recently had a panel beater "try"to tell me that there were three different shades of blue for this paint code "o2c", which i thought he was windin me up , surely he was gettin mixed up between blue mica , world rally blue and sonic blue which would all have 3 different paint codes .???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Each paint code will have different shades so as to be able to match the paint to as near as possible to the paint on the car due to fade and condition etc.
Maybe thats what he was trying to tell you

Petes right-Best way to get a match is take off petrol flap and take it with you.

had the same problem its just that in different years there was different shades of 02c some deeper than others

i bought some o2c paint to get some rear splitters sprayed and they turned out a lighter shade... then i ordered some front winglets o2c colour from japanparts and they were spot on!!!! strange.....
