Plasma Glow Gauges

Not seen them before, but look interesting.

Especially if you wanted to go blue to match the STI interior...
... or to get rid of the green on the WRX.

If you get a set let us know how you get on with them.

looks like you would be taking the speedo cluster apart to fit them and maybe driiling a few holes for the wiring to go through the back. A bit of work to get it looking right i would say. It would be good to see how they look fitted

these are what iv been looking for a long time ,to match my blue prosports and blue stero .they also seem to modernise the font .

so who wants the job?

Be intresting to see how them look
Wonder do they dim as that bright blue would do my head in at night bit bright

There is a little circle dimmer switch included as far as I can see. Just needs mounting somewhere.

They can be got in mph too....

Think I'm going to chance them. I have the blue Sti seats, and blue stereo too. I think it would look well, and ya, more modern....

I saw them in a celica recently. I thought they looked class!

If you seen the in a car and are happy I'd deffo give it a pop make sure to do a how 2 blog

Wonder if you pick the right scale out of the different options if could use it to change to indicate KMs instead of Miles. Mine is a UK car and would be nice to see speed in KMs... ratio of movement of the dial should be same, just need to check to pick the higher speed scale instead of the slower top speed one. :ponder:

Absolutely. Can't see why it wouldn't work....

Fitting km clocks to a mph car converts internally. And visa versa.

So just choose clocks in advance re speed

Personally wouldnt touch that to be honest Martin, looks cheap, is cheap to buy so far chance is low quality, your risking damaging a perfectly working oem unit for an inferior product, ????

orange sweeper clocks are nice but not for me . BLUE is the colour i desire . but also dont want an irr-iverisable job done on my clocks if i didnt like result .

i hear what is being said about cheap/quality but i think they could work but would prefer to do on a donor set of clocks andkeep myne for oem originality. so any old sets dave or anyone ?

I really don't agree that they look cheap. When I saw them on the celica I actually thought it was a new set of clocks. It looked really well. And far from a cheap looking job.

There not Chinese as was suggested. There made to order, in Poland.

And there is no chance of ruining your clocks. YouTube how to install them. No drilling, no needles to be removed etc.... Just a few screw's. Yes the dimmer would need to be mounted, but that could be left hanging till u decide if there for you or not.

I'm going to get them anyway. So I'll let ye know how they go.

Think I'd do it on a spare set and fit that see how it works out
Looks like prit stick he is using don't know how that would last in the summer with high temps could go off and lift and for that reason I'd get another set as you can always put yours back in if it all goes titts up

Ya exactly, don't know where he got the prit stick idea from. All the other videos don't stick them at all.... Just lay them in

The idea is alright on sticking it to stop it buckling over time... just get some good professional spray on contact glue.
