Just make sure you see the auction sheet before you buy.....

no dealer will show you the auction sheet. I have asked everytime in multiple deals and they all say the same thing,,,"oh we dont have it or it was lost". You see, if the car was clocked then the auction sheet will tell you. You see where Im going with this?

Hello Andy,

I would never buy a freshly imported car without seeing the auction sheet  :noway:

People who do not show you these must be selling complete muck as in low grade / damaged repairable cars

I'd just walk away. They should have no problem showing you the sheet if they have nothing to hide. You can then make up your own mind with the observations made on the sheet.

One thing about the auction grading cards is the detail, which is great, it cannot tell you mechanical condition but is excellent for general condtion and panel damage, it also verifys mileage etc

Cheers,

Michael

Its a buyers market at the moment, theres so many subarus out there if youve cash in your pocket you can name the price, just have to have balls,we were looking at a 98 type R,spotless, totally standrd 44,000 miles a real one off reckon we could have got for 11,500,so look around and get yourself a bargain

a little. but its a v-limited.

and you always pay extra for a fresh import then private sale...

although that doesn't say its cleaner etc...

add alarm and service/belt change on top of price too.

buying private one here prob incl alarm, Tax/NCT maybe etc etc..  for 15-16k

I have used a website called http://www.bimta.org/. It won't get you auction sheeet but it will tell you the milage at auction.. all you need is model make chassis number I think.. check it out.. takes about a week for them to get it.. they will post it too you
