Hi all,

Does anyone know if the 80gb ps3 comes with the hdmi to hdmi cable or will I need to buy it before santie(the missus) delivers it on Christmas morning???dont want to play it in anything other than HD??

no hdmi cable, ul get one in argos for 10ish. the cheap ones are as good as the dear ones (monster).
i have both and theres no difference.

what kinda tv have you?
check if you have a hdmi input.

have you home cinema system?
 
Its a beko 26 inch hd ready lcd,it has a hdmi port and it says hdmi on d front under the screen so hdmi isnt a problem,il pick one in argos handy enough so,thanks for d advice lads.
 
Think aldi/lidl were doing ps3/wii/xbox accessories today.

Might be worth a look before argos.

beko is made by philips , just their brand like tesco value label ( same company cheaper parts , but just as reliable ) :thumbsup:

Thats exactly why i bought it, only 300 euros in power city!!!

Carlo, Ill have a look in aldi/lidl tomorrow.

if the TV isnt full HD, ie full 1080P you won't be getting the most out of the PS3. Will still be better quality using the HDMI connection than standard cable it comes with. check the max resolution your tv can display in in the manual and then set your PS3 to match
 
Very few games if any are full HD 1080,being able to play bu-rays is very nifty,just got the dark knight & casino royale is deadly too,like i was in lake como with eva green.............now theres a thought!
