hi all,

when you buy stuff on ebay for example buying from america, newzealand etc, what taxes must you pay and how do you pay for these taxes :ponder:

you will either have to go pick up the item from ur postal service depot and pay for the tax ther and then before they give you your parcel or ul recieve the item in post and maybe recieve a jaro cheque to pay the tax at the post office for it but som items dnt hav tax at all on them  email the seller and ask him about the tax

YEP ,, Sometimes you get caught for a nice bit of money before they hand over the goods. ! :(

but the tax on items that price isnt very much mate to be honest

I ve bought and good bit over the last few years , and never been taxed :ponder: and a mate bought a jacuzzi from america , normally €9k over here for €6k including delivery and never paid anything :dunno:
Maybe we were lucky .....

Hope theres no tax office workers in the club :hang:

Just get the seller to say its a gift. They usually do or undervalue thre goods (eg sample$5)

Very rarely got requested for charges.Ups tried it a few times but I used to be in the business and knew a bit more than the person who received my mail

:smokin:
