Have started a new track project. R1 mini.
Bought a mini and bought a yamaha R1 and was wondering if anyone could help source other parts
I.E... fibreglass panels and doors.
Will be buying a zcars conversion kit shortly.

If ya go to the grass track racers @ nutts corner up north you'll see some cars wi the motorbike engines, theres one guy with a renault clio with 2 bike engines in it, flys on the straights but usless on corners, there is another guy called Pedlow has the same, he has a haulage firm outside lurgan, ya can actually see some of his cars from the M1 heading to belfast. Maybe worth a try
 
That twin bike engined clio sometimes comes to the SWRC days so it might be there on the 29th at Bishopscourt if you are coming up .
 
fookin hell.... wat year is R1..???? Wats wrong with it??? assume its wrote off with good engine or something?

Its a 99 R1. Its mint with a few bits done, high rise exhaust etc..
Best to buy a complete bike for a project like this. Everything you need like engine, clocks, wiring can be got in one hit
instead of getting a bit here and a bit there. Then sell what you don't use, frame,forks,wheels,fairings,lights and so on.
So if you know someone looking for R1 parts.
