Just wondering has anyone used racechip. They are german company.. have a van and the warrenty will be up in a few months so might get it boosted up a bit. Its a 75 bhp the last one I had was 90 bhp and there is a big difference. there is a place sportchip doing similar tweeks in Dublin.
Anyone use either. Is there any harm to engine turbos etc by doing this I wonder

What Van? Joe Power has his diesel caddy up to near 170bhp and a sh*t load of torque.

its a 2011 berlingo..if I got it to 90 like the old berlingo I had I'd be happy.. wouldn't be looking for anything mad.. just as long it would have no ill effects on the engine etc

is this guy still around. Emailed him a good few times but got no reply. Is there anyone else that does remaps on diesel

Ya will do. I prefer a paper trail with things these days as I got caught badly once. You'd wonder why people bother putting email address etc on there website an never get back to you then. Finding it alot lately with places

you'd be doing well to get a paper trail in subaru ownership! no warranty with remap usually from anyone, if you want receipts, best to stay with the dealers!

With the Subaru I have stayed with the dealer . I have a receipt for every nut and bolt for the car since it was new. The remap is for a van I have . On his website it says about a warranty alright. The dealer warranty is just up on it now so might get a remap done
