Radio Repeaters + Radios.

Anyone know how much it would be to get a repeater set up in a place and have a few radios working off it? Im just thinking something for about a 5 mile radius.

Also what do you need for something like this, or what would I need to get something like this up and running??

Any help appreciated.

I thought you need one of these to get better reception, or further reception.

We figured that we would just get cb's and work that way instead!
 
As far as i know you can get w/talkies that could do the job.Not very secure

Communication store along the quays (yellow place at halfpenny bridge) has a good selection.

CB's might work out a bit cheaper

W/talkies are easy enough to tune into with scanners. So be careful as to what your using them for.

Its basically for a bit a crack so wouldnt matter who would be listening in! Think were just gonna run with cb's cause they cheapest in the long run!!

Getting a group buy so they're coming in cheap for all the gear so happy out!
