Rally or other driving experience in Ireland

Hi all.

Looking for a present for my wife. Want to buy her experience in Rally car, super car or something like lads are doing in Mondello with car lifted randomly to make car slide and etc - Advanced Car Control.

Generally I want your help and suggestions on how are places you have been? Any recommendations what to avoid? What is the best bargain for money and etc (amount of laps, adrenaline, course, etc)? Any thoughts are welcome.

Can travel couple of hundred KMs if needed for the experience, but would probably pick one closer to Dublin if any? :dontknow:
I know about these ones: http://www.superdriveni.com/ - Any comments?
And Mondello are doing some of experiences, e.g. Porsche - but time restrictions... "The course runs mid-week from March to October with some weekend availability from November - February"
these in Maynooth - http://www.goldenmoments.ie/driving-lessons/ - any good? Is that circle the place where they teach understeer/oversteer? :ponder2:

http://www.rallyconnection.com/ - a little bit overkill with distance :(

Anyway, please feel free to give any advise u could think of!

P.S. She already drove Aston Martin Vanquish last year in a really small closed track looking like small running stadium with added "chicane" turn in middle.

Thanks

If you let her have your car!

I was thinking about letting her driving our car... But I'm really afraid of brakes? Will they be enough? Overheating, loss of braking power and etc. Is it safe to do track racing with a non-prepared but Good condition road car? I've heard its recommended at least to change brake hoses and fluids to more performance oriented.
P.S. We have N/A Legacy 05', not Turbo or lowered, or anything other tuned.

Thanks for input lads

being honest your legacy brakes wont be up to any hot laps. even when doing some spirited driving you will loose pedal. you would need to upgrade to 4 pots at a min to do any laps  the brakes on the wagon are the same so i know what there like

Rally school Ireland in Monaghan would be my choice!! I've done it a fair few times its svage and the lads are very helpfull!! Last time we went my wife had never driven a manual car in her life and he had her flying around while the rest of us were having lunch!!!she wasn't even booked in with us their was her and another wife and good few lads so they let the girls have a few laps over lunch brake

Cheers lads. Appreciate the input!
One thing I dont like about Monaghan is that its on tarmac ;[ Apart from that it looks good alright!

Never been. But heard great things about Todd's leap. They used to have a tank you could drive if I remember correctly?

Was going to mention same. The V8 landy ride and the off road driving is brilliant and wont break the bank. Been a couple times myself and love it.

Couple of friends did the rally ireland thing and they said it's brilliant but far too over priced for what you get. Can't comment myself as I haven't done it.

I think I will go with Mondello Supercar Experience. Close enough, should be fun and exciting. Any of yous know what track do they use for this experience? It's not on description. You know, just to see how much of driving there actually is for 10 Laps - 300 EUR

I will send them PM with this question as well, but thought maybe someone here already wondered.

Thanks
Monaghan will be probably next destination :]

Alright, bought her 10 laps in Boxter. The experience is held on National track. I think she will have plenty of time to get your adrenaline pumping ;-]]]

It's a pity u can't buy Impreza or B4 experience... :|
