Group of us went to R.S.I on Saturday......Fantastic day...Had the pleasure of Chris Meeke as instructor on 3 occasions.....he was really encouraging and a real nice chap......

Escort.......1.03.01
BMW.........1.04.02
Subaru.......1.00.16

The BMW was unreal...sideways everywhere....all of us found it a handful to keep on the track...and really hard work...Only had one run in this.....it should be quicker than the Escort......maybe if I had a few more attempts??

Not an expert on BMW'S.....its a 325i....which I assume is 2.5 engine......they have done some modifications to it..not sure what.... but it sure has power.

Sounds like this could b fun for a club event next year?

My dad did it a few years back but there wasnt a BMW at it back then i dont think.

mint Ken you had me in the scooby by .5 sec but i was doing 101 in the escort all day. have to say i much prefer them. Meeke is a down to earth kinda dude
 
Paul V4.......www.rallyschoolireland.ie......Full day...3 runs in Escort....1 Mini...(we had to have the BMW)....2 in the Subaru.....costs €445
(in a group its a little less)......Subarus are supposed to be 320bhp...ones a P1 2 door....

Legy...1.01 is very good in the Escort....31 people there on Sat..and only 2.....who did rallying got near that...101.68....

I was told I was losing time going too sideways on the handbrake ....its not all about time???

dead right ken, I was just curious how others were getting on. its nice to apply the advice to the road. I think it makes driving much safer and smoother
