Road kill....how much have you done.

Went to Galway with the Mrs. for the weekend.(had a great time)
Coming along a winding, twisty road on friday evening about 8pm
and two pigeons in a ball(must of being fighting) fly onto the road in
front of me, course i swing to avoid them,but splat n pop,pop, they explode.
Feathers every where.
So my Road kill count is 3, ran over a cat years ago too!
Whats yours?
 
Had a vw trasporter for a while , hit a pigeon with that at fair speed , it slid up the windscreen leavin alot of blood and sh*t

Hit another pigeon with the roofrack on my vw caddy at high speed 2 , roof of van was red after

Hit a phesant with my current impreza about 50kmph , broke the centre grill in shite and cost 200 quid to replace :angry1:

a cat ran into the side of my car one night 2 but survived that
 
on the road everyday so lost count....dogs,birds,sheep,fox,rabbit... was with a friend one night and we were flying and hit a black cow, didnt see anything just BANG that frightened the shxte out of us and made shxte out of the car....
 
hit a hare
didnt c him come out the rear end
found him 50 mile later rapped around spare
wheel under car. :icon_hang:
 
I hit a big rabbit, at night, I stopped got out and had a look around, I couldn't see it so I thought "lucky fella"
I went on home, following morning sister is leaving the house, she screams and comes running back into the house crying,
The rabbits head got caught in the front bumper, and his body dragged all the way home, (the poor little dude) and parked up out side the gaf,
It was disgusting! Felt really bad that I didn't notice him that night, but I was blinded by the headlights, so couldn't see him!

I've actually been lucky so far and haven't killed anything yet.

There was only one incident a couple years ago in my country when I hit the fox, which has already been dead and lying on the road.
I've been driving my old VW Scirocco which is very low... so I dragged this corp all the way home, noticed only after I felt the "smell" :lol:

happened a few years ago
was out fishing on a pier one day and a young wan was her dog a beautiful boxer
i was admiring her dog and chatting to her (hoping to get lucky :smoochie: :icon_grin:)
packed up the fishing gear as i was getting no bites from the fish or her :icon_sad:
yep youv guessed it as i was pulling away fckin dog runs under the wheel :doh:
poor fuvker took a few mins to die, and yer wan in histerics :icon_redface: :icon_redface:
never felt so fckin bad

Hit a dog running out of a traveller site chasing someone. :icon_hang:

Hit a fox doing a fair speed going to a meet years ago in my 106. :shock2:

When I was a young fella I cycled over a jack russel on my bike.(not on purpose I swear he ran out in front of me like the rest)

A lad who worked with my wifey years ago, hit a stray horse in jobstown, Wrote off a brand new Laguna company car, (when the new fancy model came out)
It came in on top of him!

Was talking to the father about this, few years back he hit a cow!
Thing went up on the wing and rolled off the car. No damage except broken
wing mirror, Dad was driving he's Mk 2 Ford Cortina at the time.
 
I'd a pigeons arse explode on my mini windscreen after I hit him doing a ton... and clipped a deers hind legs in the same mini as he tried to jump out of my way!

Also had a crow hit my helmet when on my motorbike a few years back.... nearly took my head off..... feathers & blood everywhere!
 
most of the thing ive hit are with my leggy actually ... birds just cant seem to take off fast enough ! woops !!
