Formerly (and unofficially) referred to as T13, the first corner of the Nordschleife after the GP-track will now be named ‘Sabine-Schmitz-Kurve’ in honour of the late ‘Queen of the Ring’. The Nürburgring will officially inaugurate the corner as such on the 11th of September, during the 6 hour NLS race.
