service question ie price

hi just got a full service done on 1999 subaru impreza sti and with oils and coolant and that is 330 a good price or did he just price it up as she's an sti impreza in galway so if it is way to much who no's of any1 who does it any help would be great thanks
 
179 is the going rate for a full service in lots of dealers I know, (not Subaru)
Depends on what you got done? how many hours labour were charged @ what per hour?
 
Graham in fairness thats not really relevant as lad could have had lots done with likes of Motul oil
or coolant or break fluid flush etc
 
i got gearbox and diff oil topped up 4.5 hr castrol oil plugs were 19 each oil filter anti freeze and screenwash this is from the reciept i got from him and that was with labour as well just i remember having a uk spec impreza turbo getting the same things done for only 250 and that was less then 2 years ago

so the oil was not changed in the diff or gear box just topped up :ponder2:

Exactly what I was thinking too,in which case-you got robbed.

Screenwash 2.50
Ngk 6,s e65.00

Parts total e145.00
Labour incl Diagnostic and all round car check and test drive e150.


Total e295.00
 
not exactly on topic but screenwash has to be the car-service man's equivalent of money for nothing!! :653:
