Shockwave traffic jams recreated for first time

well...ya see...I reckon if everyone drove real cars we'd all be going constantly quicker :D and then there'd be no accidents or traffic jams
 
I reckon they should bring in over here the same traffic light sequence as in Uk and up north where the red and yellow light show before the green..
it'd make a huge diff imo. no more dopes waitin for green then puttin into gear then releasin the handbrake an all. :wall: :wall:
 
what that experiment shows is that people who dive into lanes and speed up and brake quickly actually casue more congestion that people who maintain a constant speed so agressive driving doesnt benefit anyone..if people in ireland maintained a steady pace on the roads you wouldnt have have the traffice you do
