Skerries road races

Middle Lane Hogs
Was at the road races today in skerries and all went very well untill a crash in the grand final race where a rider has lost his life...

Rest of meeting called off,

R.I.P

Terrible news, that poor man was from just near my place.

My thoughts are with his family and friends.
Rest in peace.

While it is tragic that a rider lost their life, i really hope it doesn't put a end to these races.

2 years in a row now and i hope there isn't any radical decisions gonna take place.

rip to the rider

did i hear right that a spectator got badly hurt aswell?

riders are putting there own lives a risk racing and thats fine but when spectators are getting injured or loosing there lives something has to change

Only person killed was rider.

If another spectator had been killed this year then id say it would be over for the skerris 100.

The only time i was at Skerries,Joey Dunlop was on his way to Talinn for the last time,10 years ago and i have to say the course felt dangerous. There was new tar laid and it was damp.Slippery as fook.Rip to the rider.

Thought skerries races was next weekend :wall:
