Sky Remote

i bought a new sky remote there the last day cos i lost the old one, and i put the batteries in an it worked fine, but when i went to turn on the sky box there 2day it wasnt working, changed the batteries for new ones but it still wont work, the red light on the top of the remote flashes when i press a button but nothing happens.

do they have to be re-programmed again or something :ponder:
 
i think so alright, it should say it in the manual anyway, cant remember how to do it as havnt had sky for a while.

i remember when i wanted it to work for my tv too, had to rtfm and worked then no problem.
 
thats the thing, i dont have a manual, i got the remote off ebay so there was nothing with it

maybe if some one has them they could let me know what it says about programming the remote :pray:
 
did'nt think you had to programme it for the sky box?? i know you need to do it for the tv alright, i have a manual here somewhere i will try find it and will let you know.
