Slane never again

1st and last time gig was ok but the buses were a joke left at 10.30pm and got home sandyford 5.30 am had worst hangover ever which kicked in bout 11pm everywhere is hurting now
suppose there will always be something to moan about but dont think id go again

blizzards & glasvegas missed cause was drinking in town
kasabian missed cause it took so long to get in
prodigy got bout 5 songs as above getin in
nice weather alright
 
yeah good laugh,
The walk in was way to long
Took nearly an 3 hours to get from the car to the venue,
Plenty of pill heads to laugh at haha.
Was good but wouldn't do it again.
 
We got the closeist car park to slane, 10 min walk to the gig, 40 mins back. another 45 trying to get to the m1 due to people all over the roads. People lying in ditchs and falling all over the place. Suprised nobody was killed tbh.

Had a great time though.

It was Blizzards, Glasvegas, Kasabian, Prodigy and Oasis.
 
Yea Oasis are normally very good live I've been to see them many's a time,was it there usual Hour and a Quater gig ?
 
Great day, Queueing for beer was the worst :angry1:
Taxi waiting for me outside- was back in Navan for a supermacs at 11.30.

The que was a nightmare took 2 and half hours i was at slane begore and the que was never as bad as that we werent even asked for our tickets.
 
yeah the brother said the same thing, took ages to get in and waiting forever to get a pint...never again he,d goin to slane

Went to see the verve a few years back, same thing two beers, and by the
time ye get back to were your sitting half has spilled, aswell as the half hour
or so trying to find were you were sitting :lol: its a big feild :thumbsup:
 
yeh couldn't belive how bad a set up didnt get asked for ticket bus or slane bus was like a moving version of Amsterdam without the chicks people walking in with trays of dutch gold was mentle we had 5 guards raveing in front of us to the prodigy it was a good laugh

Great day. Spent the day in Slane on the booze and hit the concert around 5 pm. Waiting for beer and only getting two pints was the worst part. Back in the house around half eleven for more soup. :icon_jook:
