I'm on the look out for a small cheap van. Only want it to try and cut down on fuel to and from college and to be able to stick the dog in the back to bring him the beach etc. He's too big for the girlfriends 206 at this stage.

Looking for something reliable, cheap to run and maintain and with a bit of test left on it. Have a budget of upto about €1500 so its probably a longshot but let me know what you have.

plenty of good seat inca/caddy vans on done deal,

for that money ye would get a good one have a '98 inca meself now two years can't fault it ,

id take a look up north to be honest , everything down here is either in bits or overpriced , they dont get much cheaper to run than the inca or a courier but by feck they are slow machines having owned both ,

Be doing the same myself soon Mark, had been looking along the lines of a berlingo/partner... French vans are apparently a bit more reliable than their cars

I was told the same myself Robbie! Was thinking along the same lines as yourself. Never even thought about the Inca's. How much is VRT if buying up North? €50 is it still?

I had a Berlingo for about a month a while back and its the best car MPG wise I've ever driven. Not a bad finish in the cockpit either, they're quite comfy.

€50 is correct but if buying one up north get a very good luck underneath especially under driver and passenger seat area for rust n rot due to salt on the roads up there

id still go vw if funds can reach tdi caddy money , never had a problem with mine , well until i wrote the dam thing off , 1 dead caddy and 1 landrover defender with a bent bumper been the result of that :icon_redface:
