Smart Phone - Help Please

Hello Lads & Ladies,

I ordered up a HTC Desire HD late last October, as I wanted a phone running on Android

Our phone company delivered a HTC Desire to me today, when I asked the rep about the Desire HD he said it was not available on O2

He has offered me an I Phone 4 or a HTC running the new Windows platform, on our O2 Contract in Work :ponder2:

Should I get one of these phones or does anyone know how to get a HTC desire HD for an O2 contract or an inexpensive sim free one :ponder2:

Thank you for your help in advance

Cheers,

Michael
P.S. I want the phone for emails, photo quality and browsing

Desire HD is mighty expensive to buy sim free.

iPhone 5 is coming out in about 6 months so if you go with the iPhone 4 now it will be the old model shortly. Better to stick with the Desire or fork out for the Desire HD.

Great choice of phone Mick, android is defo the way to go in my opinion and all features (internet etc) should work perfect on the o2 network even though we dont stock the desire HD yet.

i dont think the network are the restriction anymore, Its great that you can buy any phone you want and use it on your network. Problem is there is so many phones coming out every month its hard for the phone operators to keep up. And with Android growing so quickly its hard for the phone manufacturers to keep up!

Hello Jonnie,

Our O2 (phone/handset) rep was as above struggling with this handset requirement

I hope I made the right selection

Thank you for your input

it may not be the best business phone, but definitely one of the best smart phones currently available. Get your self a protective case and a car charger and you will be sorted!

Struggling with the handset functions and how to operate it Mick??? Well if you need any advice or the like just give me a shout. , the reps wouldnt be as educated as us retail staff on the ins and outs of handsets..

And as Dan said, it might not be the best business handset but defo one if not the top smartphone out the at the moment and you did make the right choice.

Personally, once you can pick up your email, sync calendar entries, view pretty much any website, that to me is a business handset.

Jonnie
