1996 Ford Scorpio 2.9 Ghia Auto. 12 valve, 145 bhp BRG engine.

Needs a radiator and a thermostat.

The best auto-box I've ever driven and has seriously comfortable leather seats. Not quite a Cossie but a serious old-school motorway cruiser.

Is this definately a 24v... are they not 196-204Bhp? May have an interest! Is it the BOB or BOA engine. Does it have Cosworth written on the rocker... if not it's the 12v???? I thinks???

or a passat.

just wield the diff and itd be a great car for the beach or field.
wed a 2litre sierra and it did the job perfect.

That sounds like great craic.

I pretty much did that route last year over a weekend in a Hiace minibus, friends of mine were doing the 4 peaks challenge. I'd swear climbing the mountain was easier work that driving that poxy Hiace 1000 miles :lol:

Jaysus lads, I wasn't expecting this kind of interest, especially in these times of recession...

Between the log book and info that JOMO gave me (this lad worked for Cosworth, he really knows his sh*t. You can check him out in the traders section), the details are as follows - The car is a 1996 Ford Scorpio 2.9 Ghia Auto. "Definately" a 12 valve, with a 145 bhp BRG engine. Unfortunately it's not the Cossie. Nice-one lads!

may take you up on this as my volvo i drive everyday is dead dead dead and is over 1000 to fix i dont have the lids to get it in line... how much do you think to get it back on the road???
