SOLD

Hey lads, i bought this bike a while ago with intention of doing a bit of messing
The bike is in extremely good cond, not a mark really on it, except it has been parked up for 3yrs :wall:
I bought it this way, i put about 2 hrs in at it and got it to start, and i am not good with bikes, so it needs a clean up and tune up, bas it was parked so long the forks are pitted and seals are non existant, real shame that it was left under a cover for 3 yrs, anyway if anyone wants it .. 300 euro.
There is no book for it lads as i didnt bother to get it as i wanted it for fun, wouldnt be realistic to put her back on road anyways
I have pics on fone, if anyone would be gud enough that i cud send them too, as my cable is broke

Re: 01 HONAD VAREDERO 125

If it had a book or if you could get it i'd defo take it ken

Re: 01 HONAD VAREDERO 125

If i had a book i would be looking 6 or 700 :)
I have no book for it, as i said, i just bought it for a bit of fun, its been parked up for 3yrs outside so even though your a bike mechanic it wont be viable to get it road worthy, for road safe use your looking at new tyres, new brakes, front end as the forks are pitted and seals are none exsitant ,new chain sprocket, probably need to change cables maybe for safety, service, then the likes of handle bars etc etc have surface rust , and even if you went that far, its still not fresh looking as its sit up so long and god knows what else has sufferd the elements, i wouldnt feel right selling it to someone for road, too dangerous.
It would cost too much for the parts imo,
but for bit of fun just stick a battery in her and clean out carbs and off you go... could also be a good donor for a cart of some sort

Re: 01 HONAD VAREDERO 125

I get all the parts in the trade wholesalers, so nothing major in what you've listed there. Doing the work myself I could have it perfect for another €300.

Had one of these in that colour brand new in 2002, great bike and easy to ride, you can do an overbore with 2 CUB 90 pistons making it a 180cc and they are even better. Sure I'll give you a shout when I get home and drop down for a look
