This is amazing!!

This is a photograph of the 2009 Obama Inauguration. You can see IN FOCUS the face of EACH individual in the crowd !!!

You can scan and zoom to any section of the crowd. . . wait a few seconds. . . and the focus adjusts to give you a very identifiable close up.

The picture was taken with a robotic 1474 megapixel camera (295 times the standard 5 megapixel camera)
Every one attending could be scanned after the event, should something have gone wrong during it.

JUst had a read of that its not a 1.4 giga pixel camera its sticthed together from 220 different shots

Lads you will find it hard to believe but that quality
has been around for nearly 100 years but since the 50's
and the massive up take in small handheld cameras the quality nose
dived and today still is no where near what it was.

I have a pic of a Corpus Christy Parade in Cork Circa 1920,
firstly it's a 180 degree pic (if ya can get your head around that)
has aprox 100,000 people in it, ALL ARE IN PERFECT FOCUS, if i had the neg
you could read their watches !!

That Obama pic is class though , I suppose in another few years Nokia will
have something similar for their phones :multijump:
