could someone tell me whats the difference between a turbo on a wrx then a turbo on a sti, cheers

Not sure what differances there are for newer models but ive a 96 wrx and ive an ihi vf22 turbo
but i think that was the turbo that came with the sti and my car should realy have a tdo4 turbo,
but im open to correction on that, i no my turbo is a ballbearing setup witch is supposed to
spoolup quicker but not sure about tdo4, im sure someone will know better
