Stolen bmw

The link I put up works for me the one you put up won't work for me lol
White 12 520 Bmw

Yes what is plastic chopping board for is he using it for a signal or something??

Looking on line about this it's was a major fail with the f10 Bmw between 11 and late 12 models
A blank key in the slot will bring on the red lights a cheap obd scanner gets the codes from the car and a portable key scanner programs the key and hay presto the car starts.
All this kit can be got on eBay .....shocking stuff
Bmw did a software upgrade but still now working to good.

There's a lot to be said for a old school Disklock.

Shocking.

old cars
Nothing like em
These cars of ours are just ageing like fine wine
no interest in the modern stuff personally unless performance

It's due to EU law. BMW can't lock out their software due to free trade agreements so as to enable independent dealers to fix/copy keys.

The car can be tricked to think the key is in and it'll start. It's only when they pull away that the car realises the key isn't in but it will keep running rather than switch off which is what I think is the weak point.

There was also a 2016 Focus ST stolen nearby. Most likely same gang but that was got by fishing keys 20 feet up the hall.

Vag stuff is even worse some of the videos are shocking

Been a clatter of golf's passats octavias done locally . Cars ain't be stolen though just using an electronic device to capture the code from the remote when the door is locked or unlocked by the owner and heading back at night and having a look for satnavs money I pods etc . Worst part is the fcuks are leaving the doors wide open and the car interiors are getting soaked from the rain .

Thought the days of grabbing codes went out with the Indians do all the new alarms not use a different frequency every time it's used like the Clifford
