Subaru GT b Manifold problem

Hey guys. I have a subaru legacy gt b 1996. Its just come back from a service and the mechanic has told me that there is leaks coming from the exhaust near the engine block and that it may be a manifold problem. ive taken it to an exhaust centre and they think it might be a tricky job to fix. im just wondering if anyone has heard of a problem like this before or might know anywhere to source a manifold part.
Any help greeatly appreciated.

Where you based?
What did he meen leaks?how many places?
if the exhaust specialist just said it "could be tricky to fix"id bring it to sombody else b4 you buy anything for it just for second opinion
make sure it just dont need to be rebolted our cars like to rattle the fu*k outa everything im always tightening bolts around the engine bay.
give froggy a bell im sure he has one there if you need one

Got a rattle myself the other night I have toyo sport headers but when driving at about3000 rpm I hear little spotted clicky like the old beatle,i hope its in exhaust and not gear box etc, car pulls fine only hear noise while driving similar to sports but only when driving not stationary when revving
