Subaru Impreza WRX wagon options chosen when bought

Hi guys.

I just wanted to find some more information about my own car as I only have a partial service history. I am just wondering if the car came from the factory with the Prodrive Performance Pack. Currently, as far as I can see, it has the Prodrive exhaust fitted and has the blue Prodrive branded hose in the engine bay. Information from the seller was that the car is completely stock apart from the STI wheels. It is the WRX SL model with the optional sunroof and leather interior.

Is there any database I could look the car up to see what it was ordered with at the time of purchase or any other way to find out? My only piece of information was that originally the car was bought at a Subaru dealership on the southside in 2004. The seller thought that it was in Glenageary.

Thanks

The contains of PPP would be different backbox, Additional ECU and hoses - so check under passenger footwell, what kind of ECU there is, or if there is something on top installed. I believe it will clearly say Prodrive on it.

afaik, the whole set should be giving you something about 260hp on crank. But personally I wouldnt really believe that with our Irish Petrol.

So, the backbox has the Prodrive logo on it. Blue hose inside the engine bay with the Prodrive logo. Just need to check the ECU under footwell then to see if it's that one as you describe. Would be a nice cherry on top if it was because it was not sold as a PPP model to me. Tbh, peak bhp isn't much what I am after but rather the alleged 348nm, albeit it mentions that this is available on the 18" wheels only.

Thanks for the information :)

I couldn't access the ECU as it was covered with a metal sheet something. I will email Subaru Ireland and try to find out more about this car. Apparently, the first owner was working for a pharmaceutical company and it was bought under the company! Like...this was his official WORK car in 2004!
