Was down in Dingle for a week. Back today. Great drive down and on the twisty roads(Slea head and Connors pass) in Kerry.
Got to test the new brakes out and the verdict is, worth every penny
On the way down, while i was in Kerry and on the way back i saw so many Subarus.
Impreza's of various ages and specs and lots of legacys.
I think the nicest one was on the way home i saw a new or nearly new, Blue legacy Sti estate with Gold wheels. What a sweet car.
All in all, glad to see so many Subaru's on the road  :subaru:

Great to see so many on the road as its not a name that the average person thinks about going out and buying. (I suspect Subaru are trying to change that with their new designs)

I'd say it was the 2005 legacy spec b estate with 18inch factory gold alloys.......

she was for sale recently in limerick.......... sti badged up but not an sti.....

looks the dogs though..........

ur some bollox you shud have called in
conner pass is a good test alright in the winter, very dangerous in the summer..

@Dohcturbo didnt realise your from down there.
Forgot to mention also spotted lots of forresters and outbacks too.
@Dave, your probably spot on with the legacy estate as it would have been around the Limerick area i saw it
:subaru:

i cud have highjaked your car and i have all the bits i needed for mine

ya there is a lot of scoobys on the road now but also a lot of young drivers in wrx's and sti's. think we are still out numbering the evo. i wonder are there now more jap import performance cars than irish or uk???

@Dohcturbo you probably would have got me too as i had 3 passangers and a boot full of luggage slowing me down.
Was good to drive an empty car this weekend when i got home

Any problems with rust on your cars down there?
Harsh in the winter id say. Lovely place in the summer though

on mine, only from stone chippings on the roof, underneat is grand,
i power wash under it every now and again.

Yeah those damn stone chips
I get the hose under mine every wash, although it sometimes doesn't get a wash from one end of the month to the next.
Sayin that its not my daily driver.
Ever considered gettin it wax oiled underneath? I hear everybody in the uk gets it done cos of use of salt on the roads as they say jap cars dont have the same factory under protection as a uk spec car :dunno:

same as that, only wash it when its on the road, couldnt be arsed otherwise.
i broke the powerwasher the last time anyway, so thats the end of that.
ya heard about that oil wax but sure where would you get that down here. :ponder:

ya one of berties cars, i think this one started life as a wrx and they got an sti engine in it and bored out a bit.
