Thats quick

Its not fast enough but. for a 1.8 N/A its not bad at all, now thats what i call stuck on your bumper

best motoring always do this..i have never seen a vid where they didn't favour a Honda..put the sti on the line with that teg..with both drivers going for it of similar talent and the sti would dust it..its a lot harder to pass a road car on a track when you aren,t using massive downforce

I never know integras are that fast... :?
[/quote]

we know nothing about either car so its a little difficult to make a judgement on how fast the integra was.
For me, either the integra was not standard or the impreza driver needs some driving lessons.

Well since it was a Time Attack Event
you can take it neither was Standard.......
I think the TypeR Integra's are normally aprox 200 bhp :ponder: :ponder:

Niall.

ya 200, in V-tec.

you cant really judge the two cars properly on a track like Tsukuba, its quite i tight track with only one decent long straight at the back, which isnt even that long, and one long corner, the very last one, the rest of the track is quite tight, so a car like the Integra has the advantage of being lighter than the Impreza. the cars wont be doing much high speed cornering so the Impreza cant really take that much advantage of having 4wd, and the small places it does, you can see him wanting to go for it, but not having the track space. just my take on the situation.

Well said Norris
@ kiwi when you say ''prober'' type r i think your thinkin  of the 22b that is a 2.2
The type r has a 2.0 engine and is jap spec, personly i like the type r more it just seems a bit rawer..

thats a 1.8l Integra Type R with a b18c engine. 200BHP and that car would be standard.
That clip is taken from Best Motoring International Type R Legends , i used to have it when i had my Integra Type R.
But there is someit a bit dodgy about those races because from standing start integra beats Impreza which aint right.
I have nearly all the Best Motoring vids. Have most of the first 12 editions of Best Motoring International original DVDs. Some were never returned by mates, but if somone is looking for one , let me know.

You've seen um all Ted would you agree that they generally favour hondas? especailly with starting positions on the grid and the drivers they out in um

in a 980kg chassis (just over 1000kg when fully fueled etc) so the power to weight wouldn't be far off the Impreza. I used to have one and it was well able to hold its own at mondello against a standard Impreza. great car and fantastic balanced chassis straight out of the box! and a fantastic sweet reving engine all the way to 9k..
