Time for a change

Well after 8 years of owning my Legacy, the first 7 of which were hassle free, I've decided it's time for a change. In the past year it seems to be just problem after problem with the car and then when I got this years insurance renewal in and was basically told the company was trying to price the car off their books, it just put me over the edge.

I picked up a 2010 Skoda Octavia vRS today. It's the 2.0 diesel 170bhp model I've bought. I'll throw up some pics of it when Its stopped raining and I've given it a wash over the weekend.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to do with the Legacy just yet. It hasn't been driven since before Christmas and although it's a shame to see it just sit on the driveway I can't bring myself to get rid of it either. I'll give it a while and think about my options with it and see where I go from there.

Pity really. Might not be any harm to jump into something new. Change can be for the better. A car is one of the biggest purchases we make in life and if you're not happy with what you have, you need to change.

Sorry to hear that, I was thinking the same thing for the last few months, was even considering an octavia vrs aswell. I've decided to hang on to my legacy for another while

i had a vrs diesal estate, great all round car, space, power and economy-

best of luck with whatever you decide with the scooby

All the best with the new car Mark
Maybe put the Subaru in to stotrage if its a case that one day you will regret not having it as a weekend car
that you should never have sold
or if it doesent get used then try and find it a good home :dontknow:

:clap:Congrads on the new car vrs are a very nice car. Loads of power nice room and not a bad interior
having had a subaru in the drive since 1997 and and leaving them in 2013 for a vw Passat highline estate, diesel is not all it's cracked up to be . Especially secondhand diesel's They really only seem to work if your buying new keep them for 3 years 150000 klm and then get rid before the problems start. Keep the legacy for a while and park it up especially if it's costing nothing and you have the room

I am dreading this years insurance renewal for this very reason.......
best of luck Mark with whatever you decide to do.

Not a great pic but I'll get around to putting a decent one up eventually.
