Hello Lads,

I don't know if it's just me, but topear is gone off the boil for me this season. I have been a fan for years now....have to get my sunday evening fix when it's on  :D

What's the story with the trip to America, rocket powered robin reliant & tractors on the show

Are they loosing the plot, I thought is was meant to be about cars & a laugh  :ponder:

Have they lost the plot this season....... :dunno:

Let me know

Cheers,

Michael

i like it, its a interesting twist to its standard car testing normaility, wich is what its all about, but its funny, and different! either way is good for me

I would say they are losing it a bit... Yes it's still funny and entertaing but the focus on cars has gone a bit  :( I bet The Stig did not think he would be driving tractors around the track!  :ponder:

Hello Lads,

The stig was so funny lmao when he nearly fell out

But tractors lads.....

Next week it could be road sweepers, cranes, cherry pickers....

Come on.....new cars coming out can't be that slow that they have to resort to this....

Cheers,

Michael

They have gone of the beaten track alright.
thought the tractors were very funny concidering that's what i drove during the summers when I was in school and in college !! and still do now and then.
James was hilarious with all his prefilght checks, if that was here it'd be raining again by the time he'd have finished !!!!

It will all come together when they "make" petrol next season :D

Love the show. It is about the only thing I download regularly every week :D

the drag race was pure class, pity the production office did not fall apart, and the lads taken the pi55 out of clarkson during the interview was great :D
on this weeks show
Coming up in this Sunday's show: TG gets into the awards season spirit by building some very large, very rickety stretch limos. Also, Billie Piper steps out of the Tardis and into the Chevrolet Lacetti, and Jeremy finds out whether Shelby can improve the fast-but-flawed Ford Mustang.

I like they have added a more comady value to the show, the first 3 episodes where great, sundays was so so, the tractors had a few laugh out loud momments but got a bit boring. I dont really miss the 1 or 2 extra reveiws for super cars i will never drive and never will b able to affored. The reasonable price car interveiws have been great. The Simon Pegg interveiw was hilarious.

ya got to agree with this

I think car programmes work well when 'the car is the star'. Feck around with that too much and you're bound to lose your audience along the way.
It's become more of an entertainment series than a car show in recent years.

plus Clarkson's an egotistical self-righteous c*nt!!

Interesting how the vote is going here though - the result is not reflected in the replies posted!!

hold that thought for a minute there nodge, ill sort that out, what a load of crap this socalled car programe has become .if i wanted a laugh id turn over to the comedy channel, dont get me wrong i love a good laugh but soon enough you wont see a car on topgear.they should have renamed the programe "men behaving badly".now im not looking for every car from a one litre fiesta to a turbo diesel rover to be tested but these guys know what petrol heads want from there cars and at the moment theres plenty of good cars out there to be tested .
what turned it for me about this show was the american episode.pure crap ,they tested three american cars ,all heaps of crap and totally not built for driving, yes big engines but try turning these beasts.
its getting to the stage were id rather watch an old repeat with tiff nidell

Everything in moderation i say,
I don't mind having the occasional prank thrown in
just for a laugh .................which they have done in the past.
but a little more attention to cars would be better.

I would much prefer to see an F1 car , a WRC car or a GT car or something fast
around the track as opposed to a fooken tractor, sure you can see that any day in
Ireland :D :D

Niall.
