lads, anyone know for sure if we can run the cars on this topaz stuff?? :dontknow:

is it the same as E5??
 
could have been the footie ( liverjammypool) i was watchin last night but i remember seein a sign for "tesco 99"


anyone shed some light ???????????????????
 
i,m in the petroluem business 8 years now .. all companies fill there tankers from the same dock depots so its hard to know what your getting for sure .. i,ll look into it in more detail ..
 
i was told that all Topaz garages served out of Dublin port are getting unleaded with 5% ethanol in it. They aren't advertising it as such because they said it would only confuse the public, and will do so when the public is more educated??? :hammerhead: :hammerhead:
 
I've run my car on Topaz unleaded. Car doesnt run the same as it does with E5. In saying that I'm running on 95 and Lucas this week and its still not running the same on E5 only. All Petrol companies will be selling E5 by the end of this year if not already from some stations
