Just wondering if anyone has bought a trampoline recently and if so would they recommend it...

I was looking at this one in smyths but I know nothing about them, any thoughts?

I have one about 8 years now and there great fun for the kids and myself

I only have the ten foot one but this is only good for small kids up to the age of 5 ish

13 ft would be great, if you get high winds were your putting it I would recommend getting a tie down kit for it as I have seen some damage from them taken off in high winds

Def recommend them got ours in smyths aswell were best value at the time have it about a year kids are 5 and 2 knock good crack out of it have friends with them kids are about 13 and they still get use out of it. I put in the shed for the winter so worked out well. Wind is not their friend. I got the tie down kit but still had sand bags on it as its not great. Ya don't want to come out and it on the roof of the scoob.

Ya we got same one in the link. But as the lads said get the tie downs and the ladder . i didn't get the ladder and I should have. I must order one some of the days. there are other ones Ive seen where the uprights are outside of the play area where the net is so the can't bang into the bars. but the bars are padded on that one so its no big deal.

Got that one but in the 10 foot great crack
Me and the 2 lads on it all the time and the net is outside so you get a bigger area
Got the ladder and the net to go around the bottom to stop the youngest lad walking under it when the older lad is bouncing on it
Got it from smyths for 150 handy to put it up but get the tie down kit I got bent rebar and bet them into the ground......
Hope this helps

That's great lads. Thanks for all the input. Will go with that one so in smyths, and tie it down well!!

i think digging a big hole and having it sit flush with the ground would be a super job . no fear of the wind catching it and there would be no need for saftey netting .

then pud a paddling pool beside it and let the fun times roll .

only down side is a 10 x 5 foot hole in your garden , but would be so much cooler imo .

thinking outside the box

You still need the guards up though, the kids love bouncing off them, saw one recently in foxrock flush with a patio, looked deadly but small kids would constantly split themselves off the patio, sinking it into the ground is a great idea though and looks well.
