Type R centre section question

Hi everyone,
Does anybody know if the centre section on a V4 sti type R is catted? I read somewhere that from V4 sti's on, have no centre cat as standard. Can anyone confirm this?
I know that there is an easy way to find out for sure but I'm hoping someone can spare me the skined knuckles and crud filled eyes

i have a v6 type r an it didn have a centre cat only a silencer box

Yeah as above, there's a resonator in the centre section but no cat
