Unlocking a sidekick phone

Sister got one while she was over in the states and doesnt work here because its restricted to the T-mobile network. There's something about it that it cant be unlocked by conventional methods. Had it down in a place in dun laoirghe today that couldnt do it. Anyone know where or how these phones can be unlocked?
 
seen something bout this a good while ago in here!!!!
someone commented that they could unblock phones but not sure which network!!!!
i'll have a look back!!!

Cheers ste :thumbsup: , will have a look when i get home, cant view youtube links in work. Just said i'd ask to see if anyone's done it or knows how. I found a few things on ebay. One thing is like another sim card that slips under your sim and unlocks the phone somehow. The other is to send some lads money and they will email me a code for it. Code is only 99% successful so knowing my luck it would be money wasted :lol:
 
I think the things you put in the phone are called turbo sim's. As far as i know they work converting from one irish network to another but i'm not sure about unlocking international networks to work here.
 
Lad out in Bray might be able to do it had a few phones in with him, he is down the lane
across from the train station.
 
im based in west cork but i have the code access software , costs about 30 euro for a code for a sidekick , if it dosnt find the correct code for the imei it wont supply any code therefore no charge.
