Unlocking Phones - Cork Area

Looking to get one of the new 16G iPhones unlocked so it can be used with a Vodafone SIM. Anyone any suggestions on where to go in the Cork area?

Do it yourself...very easy.
As long as your not on the lastest firmware from Apple you can use "yellowsn0w" to use other sims.

I think the security of it was updated only a few weeks ago by accident...!!!
What way can you beat that?

Well I know there are sim adapters your can get but afaik they're a bit hit & miss.
Never used them myself. Google is your friend.

theres a guy that does um out in the tramore road, dont know if he does the iphones drive past o brien motors and take the next left and hes down at the end....if you go past irish international traders uve gone too far

Dont think the safari browaser will work if you put in a vodafone sim card, it o2 internet only as far as i know

my brother has the 8gb iphone its a very good phone he bought it yesterday its a o2 and the internet works off your home wireless broadband so thats handy
