I know only 16% vrt in them but still it’s nearly a new car vs 13 yr regardless of condition

And probably gonna go up too. It's mad because people think you're mad then asking a high price for a car but try importing late blob from Japan or England now for less than 15-16k. It's bonkers really.
Yes totally agree with that. I sold my Toyota Altezza before i bought my legacy and all my friends not in the know didn't understand why a 99 car could be worth so much. Sold for €5k 2 years ago. The only option is to import one yourself and find a clean one here. Funnily enough i had a look at the vrt website recently and "Altezza" is not an options to calculate. Mad considering how many of these would and are registered in the past that they just take it off the list. How are you supposed to gauge how much a car is going to cost you if you can't do the simple maths yourself.
I had all my receipts of everything and two different vrt calculators. where sticking me for a good few quid on a mondeo a few years back they said it’s only there a a guide as in website I refused to pay it was on to them a bit appealed it did actually get to talk to a normal person took it down by a third I think. it doesn’t matter what you say there word is gospel only chance you get a decent person on appeal if get a bad one hang up ring again my head was busted as I had a tight budget like most people
