Take it apart and clean the outer part of the pot. Check if there are any score marks in it. Use a fine wire brush to clean any crap off it.
As for a new/2nd hand one...Scoobydel might have one, he has my old Legacy and the passenger side one seized on him so he upgraded to 8 pots. Send him a pm,he might still have them lying around.
