just out of curiosity what year and mileage is your car? that doesn't seem at all like a bad deal, usually a dealer will tear you apart on a part exchange (they have to for profitability) you might get more for you car in the part exchange if you return it to bog standard, in the dealerships eyes the resale value will go up because it will be 'sell-able' to a more open market. you'd probably get in or around the same money for it anyway, then selling the parts by yourself you make you up a little more money. then again C&R sell a few cars as C&R editions with bits and bobs put on it, such as alloys, spoiler, bonnet scoop etc, so you just don't know with them lads
She's a very nice comfy car!!!!!!
177bhp the equivilant jap is 220bhp and you might just get an august 2004 STI for a little bit more than that! and then you have about 6 weeks to sell your own car privately!
Dan
thing is tho i sorta just want the 2.0xt for the moment due to me only going twenty soon. Quinn hear forester they may say ok. Hear forester turbo, chancin it. Forester sti, they will say, tryin to get a quote on that, i think maybe we should call you mentally ill and cancel the policy you have. And them i'd be stuck im a micra.
I think that Forester is an old man's car, STI is a different story now!. I prefer the one you have now. As far as i know if you change car mid policy, Quinn have to insure quote you on whatever you change to, albeit 5 grand but the have to give you a quote! or try First Ireland brokers. Give them a few cars your interested in and see what they can get for you. You can always go for a policy with a high excess, just dont crash!!
