so the new Impreza is long settled in with us now, most have an opinion of it, it seems that its a marmite car, you either love it or hate it, i personally love it. although the styling has drastically changed, what has stayed true to the car is its performance statistics (which are actually better in the new car) and what the car stands for, road rally car, practical with eye watering handling capabilities and stomach crushing speed! but another car which was like this (back in the day) was the Lancia Delta Intergralle, proud rally heritage which shone through in the road car, but this is the new car (its been around for a while but some of you may not of seen it, just want to rant about it!  :icon_grin: )

they are artist conceptions but the real car is the exact same nearly

its complete muck compared with the old car! i know its been a very long time since the Lancia Delta has been around but surely the Idea behind the car should of stayed true! road rally car, just like the Impreza. now the aim for the Delta is comfort and sensibility. come on! just look at this!

i was happy when i heard they were reinventing the Lancia Delta, now i wish they had of left it to remain a classic. soiled i tell you! soiled!   :snooty:

totally agree with you Norris if i had 15k to spend on a car to keep as a classic it would defo be an intergrale one of my favourite cars of all time :049:
 
stop giving me ideas eric :hand: haven't looked at them for a while now but the both of them were for sale at christmas with bigger prices the red one was 16500 last time i saw it and the grey one just doesn't look the part
 
The gray one could be spray Red for very little money and spray the wheels white, put a spoiler on it and she'd look the part then.
 
i only paid 12000 euro for this one

even the standard ones a 10 to 15k ster for a good one.
there a nice car but id go for an e30 m3.

To be fair, you're comparing an artist's impression of the new 2009 model Delta with the ultimate "hot-hatch" version of the original car, which didn't look too exciting itself in standard form. I think this pre-production example looks better than the drawings:

Whilst here's what one artist thinks a new Lancia Delta HF Integrale 2009 could look like, should they ever decide to build one, but it's purely speculative:
