Went last year and Will go again next Sunday.

Lovely spot and similar type venue to Terenure.

I know I’m far too late!!.. but it would be an ideal spot to get a similar stand of our cars in 2025.

Proper facilities,toilets,food.. etc etc.

A very large place, similar to Terenure… a diverse collection of all makes and models.

Cheap to go view it too last time.

A good day out and family friendly.

An idea maybe?

Opinions welcome.
 
I'd say too late to try get a designated area for the club, but can look into it alright.
If there's interest, we can get the few lads together and do it for sure 👍👍

At the time I mentioned the show, I was just pointing out it was on.
I.E. Club members go and see what they think of it?

With Terenure dead and gone… never to be no more etc..

I really think this is the new “Terenure”

I’d like if we could go next summer to this show with a club stand, like before.

the venue is just amazing.
Has all you need for family/kids/food/toilets/baby changers/play ground/farm animals/birds of prey/Forest walk….

Lots of space and outside parking for non show cars/family is massive!

2 minute walk to the main area.

Wells house & Gardens is the location.

I’ve no problem contacting them if the whole Club is interested in going there for the next big car show 👍🏻
 
100% Graham, we can try organise a club outing for next year to it for sure. Will it be June again?
Can pop up the thread there around January and get a good 25-30 cars going and as you said, be a good replacement for Terenure.
Sound plan, we'll get it sorted 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Yeah normally the same date the few years, depending on how the calendar falls for that weekend.

I’ll chase it up with the motor club who run the show and see if they are willing to give a bunch of yobs! 🤣

An area for us to get the “Old Stand” back up and running! 👍🏻

Great stuff dude. Is there a link to the event page or something? I tried searching Facebook there but I'd say it's not showing anything as the event is done already.

A year away now so let’s see if anybody in the club would be interested at all.

As I said previously, I’ll chase it up now!! If I am allowed to be a “spokesperson” for our club?

Need approval for that type of forward thinking & Im not on the committee 👍🏻

I’d guarantee it would be a fantastic family club day.

I’ve done my promo…! Been there with family the last few years… will always go every year if I can.

A side note… if we we put the passion that all the club members did for Terenure all those times over many years… I reckon.. with a stand of 20-30 cars maybe even 40 cars… we would be as a club.. the stars of the event.

We all did it before in Terenure before 💪🏻🥰😉


Also…. The grass is cut there for the show…(if you know you I know!!…) also never rained there either the last few years I went. 👍🏻
 
Yeah, it's a good call man for sure.
Id say we'll get a thread going first, get a rough idea of numbers, and try go full hog on it, marquee and flags and all that. See what we can do with a good turn out.
If we have enough interest, we can deffo make contact and reserve an area. We'll start with gauging interest, found a few pics, WIDE variety of cars
Should be cool!

Good, well attended static shows, with proper on site facilities, (food,toilets,great parking,kids playgrounds, forest walk… etc ) are now days few and far between!!

Normally a Circle K in the wet and wind!!

Yeah I’m old now 🙈

Anyway Eoin do a thread and I’ll help out in anyway I can 👍🏻.
